From a simple idea to Malaysia's leading entertainment platform – this is the story behind taxi666.
Taxi666 was founded by a team of online entertainment industry professionals with a vision to build a platform that truly understands the needs of Malaysian players. The initial launch focused on classic casino games — baccarat, blackjack and poker — backed by a payment infrastructure that supports local methods.
In response to growing player demand, taxi666 introduced live dealer tables featuring high-definition video streaming with real human dealers. That same year, the Sports Betting section was launched, covering the Malaysia Super League, EPL, and BWF World Tour badminton – making taxi666 a more complete entertainment platform.
Rewarding player loyalty is a top priority at taxi666. The VIP Rewards Programme was introduced with four tiers — Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond — each offering increasingly exclusive benefits. A fully optimised mobile interface was also launched, allowing players to enjoy all platform features via smartphone with no app download required.
Witnessing the explosion of Malaysia's e-sports scene — particularly MLBB and Valorant — taxi666 launched a comprehensive E-Sports section. Coverage of MPL Malaysia, VCT Pacific and The International DOTA 2 attracted a new wave of younger players to the platform. Total membership surpassed 50,000 for the first time by the end of 2022.
Taxi666 invested heavily in security infrastructure by upgrading its SSL encryption systems, introducing two-factor authentication, and expanding its customer support team. The integration of DuitNow QR and ShopeePay as payment methods added greater convenience for millions of Malaysian eWallet users.
Built on a solid foundation, taxi666 continues to grow — adding more live dealer tables, expanding the Sports Betting market to cover more leagues, and introducing seasonal promotions that celebrate Malaysian festivities such as Hari Raya, Hari Merdeka and Chinese New Year. Our goal remains the same: to be Malaysia's most trusted online entertainment platform.
Four core values that have never changed since taxi666's first day of operation – and never will.
Every decision we make is measured against one question: does this help our players trust us more? Trust is built slowly but can be lost in an instant — we are reminded of this every single day.
All games on taxi666 use certified RNG or genuine live dealers. Odds are set fairly, and promotion terms are written clearly with no hidden conditions. Fairness is not a tagline for us — it is our operating standard.
The online entertainment industry moves fast, and we keep a close eye on every shift. From live dealer tables to E-Sports, from DuitNow to ShopeePay — we continually adapt the taxi666 platform to stay relevant and current for Malaysian players.
We understand that operating an entertainment platform comes with significant responsibility. taxi666 is committed to responsible gaming by providing self-control tools, deposit limits, and support for players who need assistance.

When we set out to build taxi666, the first question we asked ourselves was: what does a Malaysian player truly need from an online entertainment platform? The answer was straightforward. They want a platform they can trust, one that processes payments quickly, offers fair games and genuinely understands the Malaysian way of life — the language, the currency, the preferred payment methods and the types of entertainment they enjoy.
Taxi666 was built on that answer. Every design decision, every game software choice, every payment method we integrate – all of it is filtered through one single question: does this add value to our Malaysian players? If yes, we move forward. If not, we find a better alternative.
Taxi666's strength lies not in technology alone – it lies in the community of players who have trusted us from the very beginning. From a football fan in Johor Bahru who bets on every JDT match each weekend, to a gamer in Kota Kinabalu following every MPL Malaysia match this season, to a baccarat player in Kuala Lumpur who enjoys live dealer games after work – these are the people we wake up every morning to serve better.
We're not a distant, unreachable company. The taxi666 support team is made up of individuals who genuinely understand what Malaysian players want and need. When you reach out on our live chat at 2 a.m. over an issue with your bet on a live EPL match, a real person will be there to answer and help you – not an automated bot that can only offer generic responses.
Taxi666 believes that a great entertainment platform must also be a responsible one. We provide a range of self-management tools to help players stay in control of their gaming habits. Daily and weekly deposit limits can be set by players themselves. Session loss limits can be activated to prevent losses from exceeding a set threshold. Play-time reminders are sent when you have been playing beyond a certain duration. And for those who feel they need a longer break, self-exclusion options for a chosen period or permanently are available through your taxi666 account page.
We also strictly prohibit anyone under the age of 18 from registering or using the taxi666 platform. This is not merely a legal requirement — it is a moral responsibility we take seriously. If you suspect an underage individual is using our platform, please contact our support team immediately.
Malaysia's online entertainment industry continues to grow at a rapid pace. Emerging technologies such as low-latency video streaming have revolutionised the live dealer experience. The rise of E-Sports like MLBB and Valorant has opened exciting new dimensions in online betting. The expansion of eWallets and DuitNow has dramatically simplified financial transactions.
Taxi666 doesn't just keep up with these developments – we strive to be at the forefront every time new technology that truly adds value for Malaysian players emerges. We continuously evaluate new game software from leading global providers, review new payment methods relevant to the Malaysian market, and listen to feedback from our player community to ensure that taxi666's direction aligns with what players genuinely want.
Taxi666 is committed to protecting every player's privacy. All personal information is stored securely and will not be shared with third parties without your consent. For full details on how we handle your data, please review our Privacy Policy page. For any concerns related to responsible gaming, visit our Responsible Gaming us.
Taxi666's journey is far from over. Every day brings a new opportunity to serve our players better, to introduce features that make the gaming experience smoother, and to further strengthen the trust that has been built painstakingly over the years. We are grateful to every player who has chosen taxi666 as their online entertainment platform — and we commit to earning that trust, every single day.
